PLEASE NOTE :- We have sold the hotel and the new owners are not taking bookings for the foreseeable future, sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks to all our guests, we had a great time but other challenges await----hope we all enjoy a better summer than so far!
Pauline and Mike wish you all the best from the Hostel Inn hotel Bournemouth.
Our hotel is situated only 400m from the beach and Bournemouths Boscombe pier/ Surf Reef and just over a mile to Bournemouth centre. The hotel itself is a large characterful Victorian building with 3m high stained-glass windows at the top of a curving wood staircase.
Accommodation is mostly en-suite and the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, orientated towards younger-minded people, with a large lounge with wide-screen TV and spacious contemporary bar playing the latest music or your own choice. We have free internet and wi-fi access to all areas.

We are ideal for:

* Lively weekend party groups. We enjoy hosting stag and hen nights, birthday celebrations and anyone coming to Bournemouth to sample the nightlife or surf on the best surf reef appearing soon. We are only minutes walking from Slinkys/ The Opera House nightclub and just a 5 minute taxi ride into Bournemouth centre.

* Families in summer (no party weekends in school holidays, sorry). We have large family rooms and a new fully-fitted guest-use kitchen for preparing picnics/lunches etc and only a stroll to surf on the best surf reef appearing late summer 2007.

* Overseas students or anyone wanting an initial base before securing longer-term accommodation. To complement a full range of en-suite rooms, we also have bunk-style twin and single rooms with shared bathrooms.

* Field trips and similar parties for which we can accommodate around 30 people with plenty of common areas for study sessions and relaxing and storage for bikes, surf boards etc.


Above all, we hope our enthusiasm will ensure you find us a friendly, flexible and informal place to stay, whether you are on business, holiday, an overseas trip or visiting the Bournemouth International Centre.
